Richard Terry is the mind behind Dragon Pets. He is a talented engineer, alchemist, artist, and craftsman who produces awe-inspiring works from his home studios in Houston, Texas, and Sedona, Arizona. Utilizing his artistic talents, extensive knowledge of organic chemistry, and his fine eye for detail, he creates fantasy objects that delight both children and adults alike.

As a child, Richard always loved whimsical sculpture. He created his first work at the age of four. While his peers were playing ball games and getting into mischief, Richard was sculpting castles, siege engines, and immense miniature warrior armies. This childlike love of adventure and fantasy, combined with a compulsion for fine detail, is reflected in every one of his creations.

Following a long and successful career in the petrochemicals industry, Richard decided to pursue his passion for sculpting and founded R.T. Originals. Shortly after, he created My Dragons Pets, and the rest is history.
